FAQs
Can we come by boat?
Although there is water access, due to some low bridges, unfortunately it is not possible to arrive by boat
How long does it take for the Sauna or Hot Tub to get warm?
Our Sauna and Hot Tub are wood burning so the time can vary depending on the weather and the wood. Usually it takes 2 – 3 hours before reaching temperature. We’d be happy to have everything hot and ready for you before you arrive, or help keep the fire going while you’re away
How close does the host live? We like our privacy
We completely understand the importance of privacy, especially when you’re on holiday. The host lives in a completely different building with separate entrance and grounds.
How do we get to Amsterdam?
If you’re looking for a trip into the city it’s very easy. The A2 connection is a 3 minute drive away and from there it is a straight drive into Amsterdam, only 20 minute drive into the center. You can also take the train from Breukelen station which is a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride.
